With the built-in bluetooth you can connect the Contour+ camera to any iPhone or Android smart phone and using the free Contour APP you can preview the image from the camera and make changes to the settings.
We've been testing this and it works really well. It takes seconds to connect to the smart phone and you get an instant view on the phone of what the camera is looking at.

Previously, changing the settings on ContourHD cameras meant plugging it in to your computer and using the supplied software. It's now so much easier to set the camera up out in the field.

Contour+ still gives you the great 1080p video quality we've been used to from Contour cameras, you can now take 5MP stills and record in PAL frame rates 720p/50 and 1080p/25. 

This means the videos drop straight in to just about any modern video editing packages without having to convert or transcode them. Using the (optional) external mic allows you to capture sound from a much less windy location and using the menu it's possible to adjust the sensitivity of the internal or external mic.

Please note: The Contour+ camera has built-in bluetooth support. You do not need to purchase the bluetooth connect card for this camera to work with your phone.
